Table tops are no less important and should be made from hard wearing and strong materials ideally something similar to solid laminate, wood or stainless steel. Specifically for outdoor tables, darker colours will fade in sunlight and therefore lighter colours would be advised for a constant use outdoor table. Another area to think about when choosing table tops is, "How easy is it going to be to clean?", this is a key area for cafes because they will get high traffic sometimes and the tables need to be easily cleaned ready for more customers to sit down.
